As a four-time recipient of the MVP award from Microsoft, one of my favorite benefits of the MVP program is the chance to visit the "mother ship" every year to meet with my peers and the developers who work on the CRM team. Next week, the Summit will take place in Bellevue, Redmond and Seattle, and I'm looking forward to it! I wasn't able to make it to last year's Summit due to some project deadlines at the time, so I'm excited about reconnecting with some of the other CRM geeks, meeting some of the new MVPs for CRM, and seeing firsthand what the product team is planning for the next release of CRM.

 MVP awards are a recognition of expertise in a particular Microsoft product, as well as participation in the user/developer communities, such as newsgroups, blogs and user groups. Microsoft has recognized MVPs for all of their many products (there are even X-box MVPs!), and the Summit is a unique opportunity to meet a diverse group of people from all over the world, and to share our knowledge and experience with one another.
